Pavement

20th Primavera Sound (Barcelona) & NOS Primavera Sound (Porto)

Says it will be the only shows they play in 2020.
This isn't necessarily breaking news, but I just noticed that "Salad Days" is available to stream for free on Amazon Prime video.

“Salad Days: A Decade of Punk in Washington, DC (1980-90)” is a documentary film that examines the early DIY punk scene in the Nation’s Capital. It was a decade when seminal bands like Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Government Issue, Scream, Void, Faith, Rites of Spring, Marginal Man, Fugazi, and others released their own records and booked their own shows—without major record label constraints or mainstream media scrutiny. Contextually, it was a cultural watershed that predated the alternative music explosion of the 1990s (and the industry’s subsequent implosion). Thirty years later, DC’s original DIY punk spirit serves as a reminder of the hopefulness of youth, the power of community and the strength of conviction.

I will be traveling from the beautiful city of Alexandria.  Having attended quite a few rap shows in my youth I'm glad that this is at a place that has a curfew so I can get home before 5am.
I know that Fishbone sold terribly at the Fillmore Silver Spring (Or else the free ticketmaster tickets wouldn't have been flowing).  I've seen them in Chicago at Navy Pier with a Ferris wheel behind them.  I know that they used to be a State Theater staple.  But it still makes me sad to see that they are playing something called the Tally Ho theater in Louden County.  https://www.tallyhotheater.com/ The absolutely put on the best live concert I've ever been to… and now this.
