What the hell is Murder by Death doing in that lineup?

No matter, I welcome a second chance to see them again since I passed on the Ottobar show.

I promise if there's a forum party to spit on Rhett if he shows up. Not because I hate him, but just to spice things up.

dayum - two great bands - I just picked up Van Occupanther and its very good and the AKron Family/Angels of Light was one of my favorite releases of last year
Did you know that they totally stole their sound from the 70's band America? At least that's what I'm told.

The sound at Bender was OK…I have only been to two shows there, and it's been a while. Certainly no worse than the sound at Constitution Hall. Hopefully the band will have a good soundman.

Their show at Iota earlier this year was horrible. Their sound system consisted of a CD player, which they cued up to play the backing music…like a lo-tech version of Karakoe. They 'played' "…Memory Bliss" first, but with each proceeding song, they would accidentally start playing "…Memory Bliss" each time. Prince Be looked terrible and at one point said he was going to throw up. After the show, Prince Be was passed out on the stage, while the other guy was signing autographs and giving his cell phone number to every person who came up to him. I think he needed friends more than anything else.

It was certianly memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. Like a bad version of VH1's "Face the Music."
So you'll be seeing them again?

You're a bit late on Van Occupanther. ggw was making fun of me for liking that one in August. Now he can make fun of you, too.
