Would you say Nick Cave is a natural DC show?

;D

oh a phrase unfortunately consigned to the dustbins of forum history…… yes.. yes as a matter of fact I would…

truth is I'm glad to save $100… I've seen him probably 5 times now… if he was playing the 930 Club I would go but i think his days of playing the 930 Club are done…

I think I'm going to have to go for Philly.  Disappointed that he isn't playing DC, but it will be nice to see him at a venue without seats again!

well he is an amazing live performer.. I know I'll see him again soon….
now that is a great 'surpise! at the club!' billing
We got Nick Cave twice on the last tour (Starthmore and DAR), I don't think it's that odd we get skipped this time. Also he usually does multiple legs on his tours. I'm not giving up on us getting something on an not-yet-announced second leg.
seats released for Elvis Costello….

I think that this is one one you should splurge on. Long sets, lots of Imperial Bedroom.

not for me.. I saw them around 2003 at the Club and it wasn't mind blowing by any means…too much focus on baloons, audience on stage dressed up in funny outfits..etc.. glad i saw them (I also saw them do something really weird at the black cat) but thats good enough for me.. YMMV
Oh yeah, I have no idea.  I've never seen them before. Actually,  I really don't know anything about the band at all.

Then why did you buy tickets?

To expand my universe.
Have you never seen a band without extensive knowledge of their back catalog?
