Same. I hope they go up soon!
Not that anybody on this board cares, but

Good Charlotte are playing an acoustic benefit concert. Proceeds will go to Positive Force.
Not a show, but playing through 9/9 at AFI in Silver Spring:

Festival Express

In the summer of 1970, The Grateful Dead, Buddy Guy, Janis Joplin and The Band chartered train across Canada stopping in major cities to perform live. This film of their journey includes amazing never before seen concert footage, as well as intimate and candid moments of these legends who rode the rails together for this unique tour.

Garcia's "Might As Well" was written about this train tour. I'm going tonight. It's supposed to be terrific.
That's kind of…..I don't know…….a funny combination?

But good for Good Charlotte. It will probably bring a lot more attention to Positive Force than another Fugazi gig would.

Brendan will probably come to DC though, don't you think? Just hope it's not around Thanksgiving, when I'm out of town. Missed him last time he was here, as we were honeymooning.

I'll bet markie is booking tickets as we speak :D

â??Produced by Trevor Horn, a concert for The Princeâ??s Trust'

Thursday 11 November at Wembley Arena.
The artist line-up will reflect Trevorâ??s hit-making career and so far confirmed are: ABC, Art of Noise, Belle & Sebastian, Lisa Stansfield, Pet Shop Boys, Seal and Yes

To mark this landmark event, Trevor Horn will perform with the other original members of Buggles, the first time the band have ever played live.
How does The Art Of Noise perform live? Aren't they just the result of studio wizardry? Is it just Trevor sitting in front of a computer?

art of noise use to tour in the past, never saw them. seeing as they were orginially recording in the days of the amiga and commodore i would doubt they were much of a computer created group. drum machines, backing tapes and sequencers maybe..
oh, please let us know when brendan benson comes to d.c.! i'd love to see him again. i remember seeing him twice at the black cat backstage, so much fun!
He produced one of the best albums ever…..

Frankie foes to hollywoods, Wellcome to the pleasuredome.

I cannot remember what he has produced recently, I think there was something I liked….
Mona Lisa Smiled Soundtrack, Lisa Stansfield, Belle & Sebstaine?
Ummm, all I am coming up with is Tatu…..

Must have been that.
