Guess it's safe to say "Sucked Out" will not be played. ;)
Or Annetichrist either.

Most of you will most likely have already seen some of the coverage on my upcoming solo effort, either on this site or elsewhere. My greatest desire has been to create something joyful, with the love and the hope of the Redeemer in it. My thirst for spiritual fulfillment has never been greater in my life. My personal feeling is that God has blessed my situation and provided me with the opportunity to make this album and to serve Him with the very best of what I am. Creating music is the only thing I know, and the fact that so many of you have listened to my songs over the years and gotten joy from them gives me great joy in return. I feel like this new album is just the next installment in that ongoing process. The record will be out on Rambler Records/BHT Entertainment (distributed by Word/WEA) in early 2005; in the meantime, you can check out an MP3 of one of the album tracks, "Have Mercy", by clicking here. For those who don't already know, the record was produced by R.S. Field (Buddy Guy, Scott Miller & The Commonwealth, Allison Moorer, Billie Joe Shaver, et al) and myself. We cut the album at House Of David on Music Row here in Nashville. For the first time on record, I played all the instruments myself, with the exception of a 15-piece string ensemble, graciously and painstakingly over-dubbed by Mr. Chris Carmichael, and the sleigh bells, maracas and tambourines, which were ably handled by Mr. Manfred Jerome. I take great pride in the album, and I thank God Almighty for the circumstances which produced it, and for all the good people who not only felt it was a good idea, but who also enabled me to carry it to fruition. I CAN'T WAIT (no pun intended) to find out what you think of it. I hope and pray you will enjoy it.

And for $34? What the hell? I love when these flash in the pan bands with one album, base their ticket price on popularity at the time. That seem a bit steep to me.
