Just Announced

They're playing Sweetlife the day before.  So Seth was talking to them and he said, hey, since your in town, you should come and play the club.  And they said, huh.  good idea.  So then they set up this show and are selling tickets and all, so you should go.

sorta the other way around actually, to their credit
Seth, is John Grant opening the show?

This restores my faith in the universe, a little bit.  In an ironic twist, I may be taking my daughter to Sweetlife on Sunday.
Any word on what the presale ticket limit will be tomorrow?

Real fans have these on DVD. We don't watch the ABC Family syndicated cuts that are sped up 7.5% to fit in an additional commercial segment; it throws off the sublime comedic timing of Jaleel White.

Real boardies use the Just Announced Commentary thread to make comments about Just Announced shows as to not litter the boards second most useful thread with useless comments; it throws off the very useful purpose of the just announced thread.

Real boardies want Just Announced shut down. It's a community that's purpose is for people to have discussions. What you call useful is actually counter-intuitive to that cause. What you call useless comments is, in fact, that only things of any value in the thread.
Neurosis w/ Brothers of The Sonic Cloth (ft. Tad Doyle) and Sumac (ft. Aaron Turner of Isis & Brian Cook of Botch, These Arms Are Snakes, Russian Circles)

Wed. August 12th @ The Broadberry (RVA)

Neurosis were amazing at MDF and this will be the first area appearances of Tad Doyle's BOTSC and Sumac. Tad might be my favorite Seattle grunge band so this is a real treat!

the DC show is July 19th in area code 20012, you don't get the actual address until you buy the ticket…. interestingly, these living room shows are "no audio recording", a break from his usual open recording policy…. that "Soul Coughing" show he did at the club in 2013 was pretty great……

with these rules: Tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE! The ticket purchaser must be the person to enter the building. If multiple tickets were purchased, guests must enter at the same time as the purchaser. Name on ID must match name of ticket buyer/credit card used to purchase tickets. No will-call name changes.

This sounds pretty cool. There's only 8 tickets left. Hopefully my friend wants to go. I haven't seen him in over a decade.
