curious about the cost of tix for Bruce, I went to the Ticketmaster page and started checking for cities already listed there…. DC isn't on there yet….  the price range on the upper side is either $150 or $155, I'd assume that's floor and lower bowl….  $55 is the lowest in a number of cities, but some places it's higher, $67 for Boston, Rochester $68 and $73 at MSG…. for upper bowl I'm guessing… or maybe just the worst seats in the upper bowl…..  didn't check them all but that looks to be what people can expect to pay here….

I was hoping for something in the $30 range.

After all, back in 1977 you could get a Springstein ticket for a mere $7.50, which is about $30 today when you adjust for inflation.

I could be wrong, but I believe he generally does GA pit at a low price and the lower bowl are the high priced tickets.  I think U2 and Springsteen are on the same page with that low cost for GA.

now that you point that out, I think you might be right, that's def how U2 does it….. I think Bruce used to price every seat in the arena the same price no matter where you were but obviously he's not doing that this time….. I went to 2 shows in 2009, Austin (visiting friends who were going) and then Baltimore…. my Baltimore floor ticket was $98 while my lower bowl Austin ticket was $89…..  wouldn't have minded seeing that Springstein cat for $7.50 though!!!

If you were willing to settle for Balcony, tickets to that 1977 show would have set you back $5.50. I probably would have treated myself to the higher priced ticket.
LOL james.
The Springsteen show I would have enjoyed most was an early one at College Park with Bruce and the band, Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry (backed by Bruce and the E Street Band)

If you've ever watched Hail Hail Rock and Roll Bruce talks about playing behind Chuck..very very funny…
I was browsing the Fillmore show calendar and saw this one:

OCTOBER 28, 2017 - Cafe Tacvba

Can that be right?  Oct 2017 show listed in Dec 2015?
Bands form, release an album and break up today in that amount of time.

Here's a post that will be met with a collective "Who cares?"

Grammy nominations are out.

I like Ashley Monroe for Best Country Album
Jason Isbell for Best Americana Album
and Courtney Barnett for Best New Artist

of those three, I think Isbell has the best shot at winning.

Taylor Swift will beat out Kendrick Lamar for Best Album, and Kanye and a bunch of white music critics will go apeshit.

Bruce is great.. just not my bag… I don't know why that is.. If you did a check-off list of all the things I like in music he sure would get a lot of checks… although he's a little too clean cut… he could learn a thing or two from Scott Weiland..

What's that? Get hooked on smack? Get so fucked up before shows you can't perform like a professional?

I am waiting for this show to sell out, then a second and then a third and fourth fifth show is added, and crazy people are seen around the area for a week.
