I for a couple of years just mildly enjoyed The Living End, then saw them live at the Recher. It's true, the guitarist is insanely good and a great performer. It's one of the few shows that I've walked away from thinking that someone truly deserves the label "guitar god".
Just Announced
Finally the Living End plays DC. I'll defintely be at that one.

so is lily wrong that people won't be storming the doors of llsens for that one? I'll make sure we're there early.

Originally posted by brennser:She clearly suffers from some sort of stage fright, as she played the entire show without making eye contact with the audience and got all blushy when someone said "great show" afterwards. But none of that seems to have any effect on her ability to rock out. Her voice was just as strong live as it is on the albums.

glen hansard of the frames is playing at millennium stage on 10/12 before his show at iota that nite. much better deal.
That Josh Ritter in-store sounds good, because $35 for the Jamie Cullum shows is crazy.

Did anybody read the NYT story chronicling Chan's alcohol and drug problems? Man, is she a fuckup.
Too bad it's on the same night as Jamie Lidell.

I passed up The Lovely Feathers a while back for Calexico and Jason Collett, and while I can't say I regret that decision, I'm extremely happy I'll have another shot at them. Nice.
