Just Announced

seu jorge is doing the bowie stuff with the NSO…. $25-$89..

i don't know… seeing him doing them just with the acoustic guitar was kind of sublime…this would be the opposite way for seu jorge to do the same songs.

i agree. .i bet it will be cool… still, there will be very few $25 seats.. those may even be limited to students or what have you…i'll have to pass i think but yeah, it will not suck.. the songs will have a level of majesty to them which will be very moving yet in direct contrast to the howard shows on which the simplicity and starkness of the songs was brought to bear

i amaze myself at my own bullshit-sounding-ness..

not at all, bro.
i went to an all bowie show with the pittsburgh symphony orchestra with a fine bowie cover band last summer and those songs sounded as great as you'd imagine with full orchestra.

Fuck yes.

After posting about GBV yesterday and buying Bob's book today, I cosmically made this happen.

After buying tickets to this show, I also purchased the Book, funding Bob's addiction.
I want that book too…. $$$$!!

As a press release points out, Bob Dylan has only released 39, ?and that includes The Traveling Wilburys.?

and found an old article with his first notoriety

You just can't find holes in GBV math.

In Charlotteville, he said that he was going to play 50 songs….and tickets were $30.

That means we got the best live band in the world for .60 a song - much cheaper than iTunes or a jukebox.

No holes in that logic.

(also I'm being greedy and still hoping for maybe a BC gig in DC for a week of Bob.)
DC, says . . . np GBV for you.
