Azag- to be honest, I though the theater was larger too. (never been…I'll double-check w/ someone who has)

Looks like Scream for me on the 14th then. Not a bad consolation prize.

when did he play the state? I saw him in the 1990s at the 930 and it was horrible. whenever and older artist plays a show now i say "he might pull a scrach perry.."

He played the club two or three years ago.

He played the State in 2009.

His show at State Theatre in 2007 with Dub as a Weapon backing him up was pretty good.

Yeah…Linton Kwesi Johnson… worst show I've evern see at the club in 02' or so… except maybe Band of Horses, they suck too. Oh, and Gomez too…terrible show.

Really?  Why did you think LKJ was so bad? 

He came on pretty late and I wasn't crazy about the woman ranting about reparations, but I thought it was a decent set by LKJ and Bovell's band.
