Just Announced

You know what would be the perfect cap to this great "just announced" week? A 2-night MBV club stand sometime around Coachella week. Just sayin…

Nice! I missed out on the DAR show, so I'll be there. It's a few days after my PhD comp exam!

from msg to patriot?  i would call that the "wow what happened tour."

Ohhh, I get it! Once you play MSG, you can never play a smaller venue without being considered lesser.
That's really funny! What a hoot.

Funny…when I read this post, i thought "They sold out MSG?  I would call that the "What happened to people's taste in music?" Tour."

They didn't fall off. I mean, they aren't going to see out the Verizon Center. ANd I'm sure they want to hit other places they've never been to [ala Muse & White Stripes]. If they were playing, say, The State Theatre… that'd be something else.
i dont get it, i just saw them at Rams Head Live like less that 18 months ago (i believe it was October of 07).  was that before this MSG show?

so looking at it that way, they're on the up and up.
coldplay have started announcing dates for a summer amphitheater tour, with more show announcements to follow.  maybe a date at nissan in the first week of august?
sharon jones, may 9 at the 930
Not sure I've seen this on the board:

Jack's Mannequin
DAR Constitution Hall
April 27 - 8 PM
You are comparing two totally different cities.
