Theres 6 people total between these bands. They’re just in different configurations. I’m convinced of it.
For sidehatch (close and price friendly)

why are we posting announcements for cover bands?

wear clothes that you don't care about (and dry/replacement ones in your car)

I got pulled over by the police after a GWAR show and was a little freaked the cop would freak out with all the fake blood on me…but didn't really look like more than I was very wet with food dye from head to toe

Another sign the pandemic is over: people complaining about type of shows being announced in the Just Announced thread….

Start turning down free drinks somewhere around number 10. Take it from me.
Little Big Town
Capital One Hall (Tysons)
10-2, 10-3

Presented by Bowery Presents…aren’t they the big NYC promoter?

From the initial announcements seems like Capital One Hall sees an opportunity with putting on country shows?

Anthem

Boardie meetup?

Seems like a natural Fillmore show, no?
This is one of the most bizarre Anthem bookings ever. This is a band that I thought was relegated to Celebrate Fairfax and Harborfest type events – how many tickets are they going to realistically push at a significant price point in the year 2021?

Co-signed

my reading is that there is such pent up demand, anything will sell now.  every acts gets a free venue upgrade: DC9 shows now at the BC, BC shows now at 930, 930 shows now at Anthem, etc.  so to answer the question "how many tickets are they going to realistically push at a significant price point in the year 2021?": a surprising number.  "how many tickets are they going to realistically push at a significant price point any other year?"  that's what you're thinking of…

i fear that this comment didn't get the recognition it deserved, so i'm quoting it here just in case.  well done.

Yada delivers…low cost fest almost in my back yard (actually in Starsky's backyard)

some good acts this year
The Legendary Wailers featuring Julian "Junior" Marvin!
Bonerama (not the greatest name, but a fun trombone filled band)

Really seems like a natural N.VA show that has the potential to bring the power trifecta of $pace, hutch, and sidfi together under one hazy humid sky.

But will they win $40,000? I think not!
Nope. Marvin is just not a nice man and I personally find his “rockish” guitar on Bob Marley music really grating and he is a poseur. I have seen him once or twice…He lives in the area and is always playing here

It will have to be Sidehatch and Space getting together

I saw him at that Kennedy Center grand opening thing pre pandemic and thoroughly enjoyed it.
