Just Announced

The last time at the club was the loudest I've heard them. Even with earplugs, it was unpleasant and stupid. Joe was there, too.

i didn't think the last show was that loud.  i wasn't at the 01 show at 930, but i was at another.  01 (cat's cradle) /02 (ottobar) were the loudest years i saw.  i think i only wore earplugs for two of the shows (out of 17?).

i'll definitely be there though.  sadly i've hardly been up to the club in the past few years.

I was at the 01 show.  I remember taking my earplugs out for a second just because I wanted to see how loud it really was.  HOLY CRAP.  (and I'm deaf in my right ear!)

Wow, I'm kind of amazed they're playing the fillmore, though I haven't been there so don't exactly have a basis for saying that. But its capacity is 2,000 and that seems like a LOT for a band like Pig Destroyer. That said, the BC show was very sold out (though it didn't sell out until a few days before showday) and it was GREAT.

Well Jimmy from Black Clouds works at the Fillmore now and put the show together.  They've done several all-locals shows at the Fillmore over the past few months, and they generally close off the balcony which cuts the capacity in half.
