The last time I saw Fastball, they were opening for Whiskeytown (Ryan Adams' band) at the Bayou in Georgetown.

Is this a Celebrate Fairfax Memorial show?
HammerJacks?

That's, impossible.  Don't tell me some hipster vegan, decided to reopen the place.

A show i will always regret showing up late for.  I think I arrived at 9:30 pm and it was already cleared out.  Didn’t he have a tantrum and only play a few song set?

I''ll have to ask my friend I went with if he remembers. I don't. They sure had some good shows are the old Bayou (capacity 450). The Stray Cats with Robert Plant? The same Robert Plant from Plant&Krauss?

you may be right…

Today, work has already begun on a new era for Hammerjacks, which finds itself rising from the ashes in a sprawling former warehouse space just a stone’s throw away from its beloved Howard Street location and across the street from M&T Bank Stadium (home of the Baltimore Ravens). Led by a group of Maryland-area residents, the revival will honor Hammerjacks’ legendary past while at the same time reimagining the future of live music, sports, and entertainment in Baltimore, combining all three to forge an inclusive, diverse, and affordable destination for the entire city.

I've been hearing about a new hammerjacks for 30 years.  I'll believe it when I see it.

Regarding the Bayou, I recently watch the documentary about it WHUT aired many months ago and while I don’t recall it specifically mentioning Plant performing with The Stray Cats.

One of the often told stories about it was when Plant was kicked out of the venue.

Decent doc with all the usual suspects interviewed and  good concert footage.
