And who the fuck stole my Charlie Nakatestes, Japanese Golfer moniker so that now I can't change my name back to that? Is someone planning on impersonating me?
I used to be Julian, faux celeb porn CONNOISSEUR (no hyphen) and changed for a bit and when I went to change back, it wouldn't let me saying someone already had the name. I never figured it out, but maybe you can only have a name once, and if you change it, you can't go back because the system registers it as taken?

I would suggest making some minor change like an e with an umlat over the top or something.
Thanks (and to Julian as well). I had changed back to it a second time, but maybe the spelling was different the second time, or the spacing was different, or something to that effect.

have them play at 611 with kohoutek opening, and i'll do merch for you as promised

ha, i wish my place was big enough to withstand the power of the bolt! they'd destroy the place…and way too many people would show up for it to work anyway.

kohoutek is actually opening for lightning bolt in providence at a warehouse space – i'm more stoked than you could possibly imagine – so i will talk to the brians about getting their asses to dc this year. they've expressed interest to me, it's just a matter of finding the proper space, and have it coincide with a tour.

Interesting. I'm happy to see The Gossip getting this kind of exposure. Good for them.

Anyone know when Air tickets are going on sale? and does anyone remember if they sold out pretty quick last time they played 930?
Last time they played two nights; I can't remember if either sold out.
ohhhh, thanks a bunch
so are the Misshapes going to be spinning in between bands, then?
Sorry if this has already been posted – I looked, but didn't see anything.

Elvis Costello and the Imposters are confirmed for the 930 Club on May 18, AND a pre-sale is already underway for those that have a "Visa Signature" card. Here's the link:

http://www.hob.com/tickets/tours/2007visasignature/

The public on-sale is April 7, apparently.

(Again, sorry if I'm posting something that everyone already knows….).
How much is Elvis Costello?
How ironic is it that the initial link to the sale is through House of Blues?

she didnt have hairy pits when i saw her at Lolla, but she did change her shirt on stage, and purposely let two little boobies slip out.

$75 plus charges. I think it ends up being around $84.

most expensive show at the club, ever?
How much was Dylan a couple of years ago?

I think this is a dickhead thing for EC to do. He could sell out the 9:30 club on his own without some stupid Visa/House of Blues partnership. For almost an entire month, the only people who can purchase tickets to this are people who have an invitation-only credit card? Diapers and keeping Diana Krall in face cream must be expensive.

Man of the People, Declan McManus.

Brian
Dylan was the same, $75
Actually, at $75 a ticket, the 930 Club might be taking a loss…it all depends on what Elvis C. charges to play the 930. $75 X 1200 people = $90,000. It also looks like this is one of the smallest venues of the tour.

He is also charging $75 for floor seats at the Warfield (San Francisco) and $40 for balcony.
