indeed the Furs have been around forever. I think I saw them twice in the 80's. Once around 1984 then again maybe five years later.

The Robert E Parilla Peforming Arts Center opened in 1984.
The Psychedelic Furs formed in 1977, but didn't chart in the US until 1981.

I believe they were the first British band to play old 930 which is why they were originally slated to play the 930 30th Anniversary Party/show

Does this mean that FI was moved up a day to no longer conflict w The National at MPP?

Apparently earlybird tickets were $10. Price goes up again to $20 starting Saturday.

If we go, we'll probably just get our beer drinking done at the Veil and the Answer beforehand.
