I think it sold out a week or two before hand, but yes, tickets were on sale for a while. My guess is this time around they will go much faster.

haha. my friend is flipping out over this saying he's ready to rock like it's 1995. Aren't Live and Collective Soul on this tour as well? And isn't it stopping in Aberdeen too?

It's Live, Collective Soul, Counting Crows and Third Eye Blind.

August 14 is Aberdeen.

I don't see myself going, unfortunately, between Dave Matthews at Nissan and Dream Theater in Baltimore (woot, won free tickets) that week already. I've also already seen CC/Live 3 times on that tour they had with Galactic.. they were spectacular or completely awful. blarg.

Only saw Collective Soul once and they were fucking spectacular though.

Is it bad that I've seen both Live and Counting Crows "back in the day".

I only went to see Live b/c PJ Harvey was opening though.

depends. for folks in the DC area, probably frederick (about an hour up 270). for b'morites, aberdeen is the way to go. for you in annapolis, looks like aberdeen is a tad better (but not by much).

biggest problem is that these two shows are on tuesday and wednesday, so you'll have to deal with rush-hour traffic. actually, if you want to make it in time for the show you're probably going to have to not deal with rush-hour and leave before it hits. neither 270 nor 95 are nice to deal with between 5:00 and 7:00…

I was thinking the same, but I'm not sure how entertaining it will be without her bassist to interact with.
