true, i saw The Black Keys, Enon, and Kevin Devine there. But Memaud never got anyone better then Guster in my time there…and that's a great fucking venue. What year did you graduate?
I was there 95-98.
is haffa's records still there? that place was awesome. I haven't been back since i left in 98. i pretty much hated athens. i remember when my parents dropped me off in the fall of 95 we went to the bob evans…because that's pretty much all they had then…and my mom looked around at the preppy plaid clad folk and said 'oh liz, i don't think you're going to have a lot of friends here'.
i think i remember wearing a dinosaur jr. tshirt that morning. she wasn't right.

Wow, sounds like it has changed a ton. Haffas closed at the end of 04 though :(
But now theres tons of stuff down there and not really that preppy.
