I was told Cat Power would be announced and on sale via the normal 6 week before show cycle (~9/6). I do not know if there will be a pre-sale.

And on a totally unrelated-to-Hives-tickets note…

Am I the only person here who sees Art in Manila listed to play at the 9:30 Club on Wed. 9/26 and thinks that they ought to share a bill with Architecture in Helsinki??

A fair amount of 9:30 shows sell out online the morning tickets are released. Black Cat is half the size and the tix are half the price they would have been at 9:30. I'd guess that a ticket would run around $20 on ticketmaster.com. I'm gonna hold my nose and buy online.

Black Cat service fees tend to be fairly low on TM. A $12 ticket will probably run you $16.
