the venue or the act or both?
Forgive me if this show below has been announced. (I've been offline and don't believe I saw this in the last six pages. And, if it hasn't been announced and you go test drive and get tix bring me as your +1 as a thank you pls?;))
MGMT TO PLAY FREE SHOW IN WASHINGTON DC 9/20
09/20/09 Washington DC/Kia Soul Collective Warehouse
Click "NEWS" at the top of the screen to find out how to get tickets (see website)
By going to the Kia Soul Collective Warehouse and test driving the Kia Soul. That's right, all you have to do is go to the Warehouse, check out the car and you'll be hooked up with a pair of tickets to this special show with less than 500 people! Your chance to test drive starts on Friday at Noon (complete schedule for test drives is below). Head down to 3330 New York Ave NE in Washington DC and sign up for a test drive and you will get two free tickets.
Also Wale on Friday and Dan Deacon on Saturday
Speaking of Wale:
9/26 at 930 with UCB, Bun B and some other local dudes.

What's the website? I can't find it on Kiasoulcollective.com.

Also does anyone have a number for this? I tried the facebook event and the website. How are they going to do these test drives. Like first come first serve? I'd imagine it would take forever if they are giving away free MGMT tickets so does anyone know if its possible to make an appointment for a test drive at a certain time to make sure you'll get tickets?
very sorry I neglected to put this: www.whoismgmt.com
That's all the info I have found other than kiacollective on twitter where they just announced it - I think their website doesn't mention it yet the DC show hasn't been announced there.
reminder: mgmt produce great recordings, but they suck live.
i concur with what sweet said  ;D
really? i was looking forward to seeing them.
I think they suck on record, too but that's just me.

I think what we really need to be considering here is: do any of us really want to attend a concert proliferated by people who are considering the purchase of a Kia? Ugh! /julian'samerica
