yep, as was the night before at DAR when he forgot the words to "Gumboots" and pulled some guy out of the crowd to help him out…. looked kinda staged, but people that know the dude swore it was legit and was still a pretty cool moment….

Jim Henson's television experiment "Youth '68"

Sunday, March 6, 2016 . 6PM

Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library
University of Maryland

Presented in conjunction with The Jim Henson Legacy, this experiment in television produced and directed by Henson precedes the work that more commonly defines his legacy. Only aired once, and only screened once by The Jim Henson Legacy, this film was originally described as an ?exciting mixed media portrait? of the youth and their culture in 1968. Youth ?68 is a collage of interviews, literary quotations, and contemporaneous popular music and modern dance. The notable artists interviewed include members of Jefferson Airplane, Mamas & the Papas, The Journeymen, Happy Apples, and Vanilla Fudge. John Vorhees in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, called it, ??a fascinating groovy hour that bears repeating??

I have seen Local H many times at RNR and I think they are one of the only bands that sound ok in there. Now Dungen having to play in there is a travesty! Pretty bummed about that. They sounded stellar at the DC9 last year.

Crowbar - Sat. April 2nd @ Cafe 611, Sun. April 3rd @ The Pinch.

The Who on groupon.. …$49.50 all in for a ticket in section 405-406 or 411-412…yeah, a nosebleed.. not sure about how good a "deal" this is..
Sweetlife Festival
5/14 On Sale 2/24

The 1975, Halsey, Flume, Grimes, Partynextdoor, Blondie, Eagles of Death Metal, Mac DeMarco, Thundercat, Shamir, Wolf Alice, DIIV, Prinze George
$100 being the cheapest ticket LOL good luck with that
Fuck Sweetlife and Sweetgreen in general. I bought VIP tickets for the second Sweetlife to see the Strokes.
$100 (or $50 extra from the standard tickets) got me:
"VIP" seating (AKA Left Lodge Seating in the very fucking back while any standard ticket could get into the GA Pit)
A coupon to get a free salad at Sweetgreen location. God forbid one at the ACTUAL festival.
Drink tickets (never got these).

I will never give this company another dollar.
I really hope that's not the only area Grimes appearance.
