yeah, but who's in the line up? Jourgensen has pretty much cut ties with most of the original members as far as I'm aware.

looks like I'll be taking a trip to B'more
yeah, i'm already going to chicago for cold waves…..can't believe i will be seeing the cocks twice in a week!!!

al jourgensen has been the weak link these days……so much better without him.  too bad they couldn't get bill rieflin (one of the orignal members)..guess he's playing with king crimson these days (after rem and mc5)
I remember once walking in to Wax Trax and picking up a copy of YGDSOB and Chris Connelly was working the the cash register. I felt like such a fan boy dork that I wouldn't even look him in the eye lol. And he could totally tell. He say a "good choice" and sent me on my way.

book looks real interesting.. i enjoy these types:

In the new book Under the Big Black Sun: A Personal History of L.A. Punk, Doe and assorted friends ? with help from Tom DeSavia ? tell the story of L.A. punk as it began, developed, and changed the music scene forever. Doe, Exene Cervenka of X, Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Go?s, Mike Watt of the Minutemen, Henry Rollins of Black Flag, and more share tales of friendships, feuds, dreams, and disappointments, acquainting us with the weirdness and wonder that defined the world they created on the fringes of Hollywood society.

Space, speakin' of Dr. Dog weren't you going to see them with the BSO? If so, deetz?

We passed on that. Reading between the lines, it looked like it was going to be a short setlist…and it was (13 songs then three songs with the band). And too much of a hassle on a weeknight getting to Baltimore from NoVA, even though it was Spring Break.

Liked their "new" album, so may be up for this show. You?

I'd so most likely all signs pointing to a big old no…

Speaking of 2/3 night runs, I see that Friday 8/12 is absent on the Dr Dog tour calendar. I wonder if there's a third 9:30 show that they might do if the first two sell well….

L7 is already scheduled for that date, so one of them would have to do an early show that day to make that possible….
