Towson?!?!? Whoa nelly. Though apparently the store is cool, I cannot be tempted to spend money right now.

And, of course, I always get to talk to the band at the show. Last time Ken gave me a hard time for not saying hi when they first walked by…I feel a little like Jag, in the know that way. ;)

So it's Charlottesville, Baltimore, and Philly on consecutive nights, and no DC. I wonder if it's the high rent or lack of hip DC people?

Catch that Pens game last night?

First one I've made it to - nice choice eh?!

We are sitting there and they are losing 0-4.
Looking as bad as I've EVER seen them play.

Then #66 scores 2 goals right in front of us & they run off 7 unanswered goals.
That was as much fun as I've had @ a non-playoff hockey game.
Not to overstate it, but I think that was a season-changing & season-saving game.

The new line of Lemieux/Crosby/Recchi looks HOT. Sid is the real deal. The kid plays with so much passion & power. Every time he brings the puck up - he either gets a quality shot or forces a penalty.

Anyway…that game made me happy.

Got tix for Monday night's Ravens annihilation too.

Good week to be me…
GS & VB,

Come back for MNF game - stay for the National show - feast on 'Burgh grub - drink beverages - & catch one of the best shows you can see right now in one of the better venues.

I already bought & distributed 15 tickets. Can always get more!
Morcheeba at 6pm on a Wednesday?! But still can't complain, only four US dates and three came from the three requests in the forum of the Morcheeba Web site. But how cool that Iron & Wine and Calexico follow and then sunday we have TOSCA with Dorfmeister!

Buyer beware. I hope out checked out their new album. They have a new vocalist, Daisey Martey. The music is still good, but I highly doubt the old stuff will be anywhere near as good without Skye.

Wha? lol. I'm still hoping for a DC date too. Although, I might make the circuit.

I'd heard that Daisey Martey isn't with Morcheeba anymore – they've moved on to a third vocalist that can supposedly handle Skye's material better. So definitely buyer beware…

Reviews from their European and South American tours have been really good. I like the new CD but yeah, haven't heard anything with the new vocalist they are touring with. I imagine there isn't that bad of a drop off, in fact she supposedly plays sax on some stuff. Photos from the tour are on their site. She is not too bad on the eyes but anyways,,,
