Yeah, there are at least 4 different CMJ shows I want to see Oct. 14th. I think I will make it to two of them.

I was looking at the Galaxy Hut calendar and saw that a band called Waiting Room is coming Oct. 17th. I saw that they are from Ireland, so I decided to check out their site. (It's so interesting to see which UK and Irish bands come over.) Anyway, I have listened to two mp3s, and I think some of you may really like them. If I've recovered from CMJ, I might go to the show.

Oh and one other Galaxy Hut show: Paik on Oct. 18th.

Sufjan Stevens at the Black Cat

I saw him in Portland back in July with Denison Witmer, definitely worth it. I will unfortunately have to console myself with tickets for k.d. lang that night – in Paris :)

according to tickets.com, billy corgan will be playing on sun, 10/17/04.

and john fogerty will be playing the 930 on nov 12.

Matthew Sweet on November 13, it's an early show because…BLUES EXPLOSION! are playing the same night. Sparta are playing on November 15. Tickets on sale this Saturday for all three shows.
