Great. I'm already bummed about missing the Meat Puppets. Now it's just insult to injury. Still sore that I missed him the last time.

Sorry to pile on with the superfluous commentary, but HELL YEAH to Jay Reatard on this bill.
And personally, I like the new Meat Puppets disc quite a bit. It's a little lazy and repetitive, but it sounds good and it's reminiscent of Up on the Sun.

BTW, if you want to see III headline he's in Lancaster PA 9/28 and Fayetteville NC 9/29, I suppose since he's playing DC in November that he's skipping the area entirely and playing markets where the Rev tour isn't going to be.
And are you referring to the Black Cat show from last October? I'm one of the biggest III fans around but his voice was in HORRIBLE shape that night (actually the worst I've ever heard him) but kudos to him still playing, if you enjoyed that show then you'll love him when he has more of his vocal capability intact.

Had enough of the DDBB (four times this touring cycle), mixed emotions about her being sober and tour crazy (joke), would like to see a different set, and a piano and gee-tar would be sufficient as far as I'm concerned…and to hear the Covers 2 stuff, even better.

Umm, this is only her 2nd proper tour with the Dirty Delta Blues Band. Maybe you are referring to the Memphis Rhythm Band who she toured with for The Greatest.
