What is true is that society only gives musicians a chance….when they are young …cause rock and roll is by definition the music of the young

As artists get older society turns their back on them and it doesn’t even matter what they release…society has moved on

But the greats work at it and get better….and defy the odds…bend society to their will… How could they not?
