Nice
sweet! I've been seeing clips and the shows look great.  although I will say, I really think they can't call it the pistols without Mr Rotten,
they should be touring under a different name

They were the Sex Pistols before Rotten joined…
but were they? come on, there is no pistols with out mr rotten.  Would have just been another riffy pub band
the rest of the team are decent musicians and atually play pretty standard stuff,  rotten was the change agent

It always weirds me out to think that Sylvain Sylvain, Midge Ure and Richard Hell were all approached about fronting the band before Johnny Rotten was discovered wearing his I hate Pink Floyd t-shirt.

Maybe, this has all changed since the last 3 times I went there when they first started

Horrible to drive to. Nowhere I saw to park. Clusterfuck area. No metro near; I'm not walking 10 minutes. Cabs don't go there at all, ever. I had to finally walk over a railroad track bridge to get to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel just to find a cab after shows. That was scary at night, as all shit. Everything restaurant or bar wise around there seems to be upscale,  board up their ass places. Hate the seating inside, Hate how hard it is too get good upper sections. Hate the beer selection. I love the club, always have, always will. Plus some guy name Hutch works there ( kidding ).

The, end.

You're too lazy to walk 10 min to the Waterfront metro station? The Anthem is about the same distance from a metro station as 9:30. Yes the Wharf's corporate atmosphere generally sucks. But Metro access and the Anthem aren't why.

So what’s the penalty for posting satire in the JA thread

It’s like the 9:30 admis are like the FEC
There are rules in place, but no teeth to enforce them

Some would posit Julian’s America has been filled with satire the entire time!

Looks like performing Run sodomy and the lash

They should have a wax figure of Shane on stage hooked to an air mask that teeters from side to side
