Also, even when I saw him for the Wolf tour, it was basically the entire I Get Wet album.  Either way…I'm pretty pumped.

this isn't a snark, or a put down, or a test of your composure around me . . . but don't you think, even if you worship the artist, that if they have to do one of these "i'm going to play a whole album show" it really means, "i'm washed up, can't make new stuff that is decent, so i'll relive the days that were great"?  but then again, is that bad?  i can't decide.  the only album in the history of albums that i would love to see a band do would be ween  pure guava . . . and that is only because they would finally be forced to fucking play mourning glory live.

Nonesense. An album can be as much an artistic statement as an individual song.

Moreover, whether an artist is "washed up" and can't write new songs people want to listen to is irrelevant.. performing music live is art itself: it may be good art or bad art…  and if people want to hear it live and pay for that privilege so much the better. The idea that the only artistic expression musicians have open is writing new songs is very simplistic and childish.

Really dude.. try harder if you're going to be a downer!
