good point..
but I had combed that website as I usually do.. I dont' find them interesting…Johnny Clegg? I like flamenco but I don't know any of those people.. I just don't know that much about that music I guess…other than Tomatito or Diego El Cigala I wouldn't know the first thing about it… Jose Gonzales? It just says nothing to me..  Lisner is a big letdown for me… its so rare for them to get anything interesting…same with Strathmore.. I still check .. hope springs eternal.. My partner went to see Caetano Veloso there a few years ago (I had already seen him twice).. I wish I had gone to Gilberto Gil…I haven't been there in DECADES… I did see Joan Manuel Serrat there which is exciting.

and walkie I rarely go to shows anymore.. 1 or 2 a month….

I really like both Rokia Traore and Buika quite a bit, but I doubt I'll go.

I'm telling you this is Tito Puente.. even looks like the spitting image of him…. his hair is a bit less white though…. and he's performing all the Tito Puente songs..
So he's not actually Tito Puente, but he still tours & performs under the exact same name Tito Puente.

Ok.

Its Tito Puente Jr.

Slick Rick on goldstar comp
Just snagged a pair of tickets to the Iggy Pop/Josh Homme concert in Philly 4/15.  $55 each (plus fees) for the 'family circle' balcony. $125 for main level, $95, $75, $55 and $45 for the rest.  It's at the Academy of Music, an old weird opera hall.
