Kid Rock Keeping Prices Low

10:01 AM Tuesday 2/17/15 4 | |

Remember Kid Rock?s 2014 ?$20 Best Night Ever? tour where the Detroit rocker kept tickets at affordable prices?  Guess what?  He?s doing it again.  This time with Foreigner.

    Kid Rock

Minnesota State Fair Grandstand, Saint Paul, Minn.
    August 23, 2014

In an effort to combat scalpers, Rock is taking the seats ranging from the second row to the lawn and selling them for $20.  With the deal including reduced parking and service fees, the final price will be $30 or under.

But that?s not all, folks.

$20 all-in tickets will be offered at participating Walmarts and at venue box offices.  Fans buying these tickets will receive coupons giving them $2 off the purchase of Rock?s new album, First Kiss.

To fight off the scalpers, promoter Live Nation will take 1,000 tickets from each show and sell them via the company?s Platinum ticketing program.

And those front row seats?  Those will be dispersed among the fans as instant upgrades.  The shows will also include $20 special food packages, $4 draught beers and special $20 T-shirts.

Does Morrissey's appearance mean Firefly will only be serving vegetarian fare?

And what's with the blurred out line at the top?  Surprise headliner?

I read somewhere that the blurred name is McCartney.

Seth, my teenager is a Killers fan. Can you arrange for them to play at the Patriot Center while they are nearby? I would consider it a personal favor. I can take him to MPP if that works better for you, but I fear that it is too close to the festival.
Morrissey. Yeah right.
If McCartney is the last headliner, that's by far the best lineup they've ever had. Heck, even if its not McCartney, that's the best lineup they've ever had.
I will be there.  I have hope that Morrissey will be there, I will enjoy his show as I'm eating a turkey leg
;D

I agree. Really liking that lineup.
What a terrible lineup. I wish there was any decent festival within 3 hours.
