Just another date from this tour trickling in. Does destroy the Gogol Bordello/TC conflict the Richmond crowd was having.

I know! That was about ten posters killed for me. The manager is saying they will tour later in the year if possible or early in the next one.
I might be interested anyway if I like the design since I was going to go. Post a pic.

That it does. I may have to consider both of these, even though my finances won't like it.

I was conflicted, but going to choose TC. Now, I'm conflicted between TC twice or once of both bands. Either way, September and October is getting packed with shows I want to see.
Bogus…been looking forward to finally seeing Wooden Shjips, and I just realized I'm out of town for a wedding.

Do both. Chances are, that TC show will be the same set both nights. Plus, Norfolk is a nice 2 hr drive away. Gogol is also only $20.

Ouch. Just ouch. My worst fears have been confirmed from the cheap-ass website and the initial lineup of shows, that much like these people did with the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, they were going to take a really cool building in Richmond and turn it into a shitty, shitty third-rate venue with no act anyone has ever wanted to see. Almost painful.

Well it looks like they stole the booker from the State Theater, so maybe shows will actually get better out there…
looks like the booker from Jaxx is in on the action too.

i had no idea country was this slutty… might have to check it out:

what a dismal place they turned it into.

This just may force me to make my one annual trip to Iota.
Yeah, I almost wish they would've stayed closed if they were going to do this.
