mr. lily saw them last fall and really liked their show at the black cat. i think they are a good pairing with the frames. just means that i need to get my sorry ass out of work on time to catch their set which will probably start around 8.30pm.

Re: DBT in Richmond.

Did a little research, it's definitely Friday Cheers. So, as stated there will be annoying crowds of frat boys and west end yuppies, but they will not be near the stage. The price is right, free.

I lived in Richmond 6 years and have plenty of good friends there so I think I'll take the day off and go down. I'll make a Plan 9 run too.

Isn't the DBT crowd typically a mix of male yuppies, rednecks, and fratboys anyway?

I prefer not to peddle in stereotypes. Just kidding.

I was making that comment about Friday Cheers crowds, not truckers fans.

I realize that. But would the crowd be much different than a typical 9:30 Club DBT crowd? You might actually have single women there, whereas all the women at DBT shows are wives and girlfriends.
