what do you think the crowd would be like at a Fray concert?
Crowd at Fray concert?

Primarily suburban crowd of white kids, sometimes accompanied by their parents and generally well-supervised by club managers and security personnel.
race-baiter…..
i would guess that a fray concert is going to look a lot like the demographic for Grey's Anatomy…
I don't think I have heard of the Fray until a week ago, and now they are headlining MPP?

My wife's 50 yr old boss who knows zilch about music, watches Gray's Anatomy and has the soundtrack. A good show for her?
Well they've played 9:30 at least twice in the past year. I don't see the appeal, but most of us are bit more demanding of the music we listen to than the general public.
actually, the fray's last show in DC was at DAR. sold out, too.

yes, i'd think this would be a "safe" show for a 50-year old boss. think coldplay's crowd.

So pretty much like all the shows at 9:30 and other venues around here, except for maybe Jaxx and a few go-go's in PG?
Steny, did you just crawl out from under the same rock you referred to in the Lily Allen post a few weeks ago? I am not a fan of The Fray, but come on, they are all over the tv and all types of radio stations.
Just a guess, but JAXX is probably filled with suburban white kids too. Or older people scarily trying to look like suburban white kids.

In reality, are there any white kids around here who aren't suburban?
