Just Announced

Whoa when were Cut Chemist and Lyrics Born added to the tricky show? That totally sweetens the pot for me. :-D

Yeah, but I Dare was referring to Lisa Lobsinger who sung it at the last 930 show. The show at the Merriweather was sung by Amy (she was horrible, IMO)

So I gathered. I can read.

have you ever seen Lyrics Born live? its the worst thing i have ever seen. hes like a totally lame funk band. doesnt really rap ANY of his songs and will spend 3/4 of the set saying "hey, dc, we're gonna funk ya up and down!"

totally awful.
No I haven't.
Saw Broken Social Scene's last show at the 9:30 club last year. It was the best show I saw last year, and I saw quite a few shows last year.

hopefully emily haines is there to sings anthems instead of that other girl. she ruined that song.
Amy Millan (the other girl) is touring behind her solo album this fall, so I assume Emily Haines will be there.
Sorry no Emily either, she has a solo album coming out late September that she'll be pimpin, along with some Metric dates abroad
Maybe they can get KD Lang to sing the part. She's still Canadian, right?

Of Montreal is playing Charlottesville on 9/28…any chance they play closer to DC?

Did anyone see them at the State Theater last month?
Saw them for the first time at the State. Loved it. Very high-energy show. Also really theatrical.

Has anyone heard that commercial on the radio for Outback Steak House that is a parody of Wraith Pinned to the Mist?
No but I have been looking for an mp3 copy of it. Been reading the funny reactions that many of the people on the e6townhall messageboard had to it.
I heard it and was really shocked. I was like is that Of Montreal? I wasn't paying attention to what was being advertised.

Is this an early show? Cursive is also scheduled on the 3rd…
Not after 16 in the state of Maryland. I'm not so sure about DC.

I'm guessing it's an early show.
cursive should be the early show…
