I saw them play DC9. Once was enough for that band.

Not really announced, more like hinted at, but Ted Leo last night said that the Pharmacists, which isn't really a thing anymore, will play together at the Friday night BlackCat event. So if you are into that sort of thing, and you should be, then you should go.

One of my favorite bands opening for a band I absolutely loathe. Gross.

EDIT: Perhaps the Saturday and Sunday off between DC and Raleigh could result in a Waxahatchee solo show in RVA/C'ville. . .
for hutch:

Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds @MPP on 6/18

One of my favorite bands, supported by a band that I literally fell asleep (while standing up) watching.
That's like racehorse level stuff right there.  I fell asleep during Judas Priest, but I was sitting…

We should ask Seth if there's anyway we can split a ticket.

No way brah. I want to give Katie another try. In her defense, I think that I was in the midst of a 4 or 5 show week that night, and Bagley made me go to this with him and his best friend/neighbor.

Nope. Waxahatchee's site says the DC shows are a two-night stand. 4/28 + 29.
