i keep forgetting . . . is he the wanker, or the brother trying to get away from the wanker?

good news!
the latter…although i would not be surprised if it is ALL an act..

it will be interesting to see how this show sells.. beady eye as we know has yet not sold out.. in a venue far smaller than the warner..

can noel move 1800 tickets- in DC- at what is sure to be a premium? i'm skeptical..
Noel sold out philly and boston on this current tour, though im not sure what the capacity is at those gigs
I went to Philly on Friday night.  Very cool venue - Noel said it was like a "mini Albert Hall".  I'd guess around 2500-3000 there.

Wish I could have pulled that.  Great and and the clips lead me to believe the film is pretty damn good, too.

I get them confused all the time.

I wish more acts would come to Warner.  It's my favorite local venue.

Wow.  I can't believe he sold out 2,600 in Philly.  That solo album is AWFUL!  I guess he probably did a handful of Oasis songs but he doesn't have half the voice his brother has.  Probably "Wonderwall", "Don't Look Back in Anger", that Kinks rip from a couple of years ago and some of those crappy Neil Young-style B-sides.  But 2,600?  In this economy?

Wow, love Noel and will definitely be there, but I'm surprised by how expensive his tickets are…?  They're more, even without fees, than Radiohead charged for their Texas dates.  Double the cost of Beady Eye.

Never thought it'd be, more or less, $100 a pop for his first solo tour.
