At The Drive-In reuniting….

Thank goodness. Sparta went to crap after their amazing first album, and I hate the Mars Volta. ATDI reunited could be pretty great…
Sparta sucks so hard.
I actually listened to De-loused last night. The Mars Volta <3 too bad their live shows are fucking insanely long. Saw them once, probably never again. Totally amazing live, but I can't do it again. Pumped for ATDI!!!
Sparta's first album and EP were really good. The second one and thirds are pretty lame indeed. Sleepercar was kinda boring too. Mars Volta have been getting crummy as of late as well. Cedric said he was open to an ATDI reunion, that was almost 2 years ago too. Exciting news this is.
I had tickets to that last ATDI show at the Black Cat but found some lame excuse to skip it. Been kicking myself for years over that.
Funny, I had tickets and mixed up the dates. Only realized it that night…about 20 minutes before they played, and I lived an hour and 30 away at the time.

Any idea if there will be a presale? There's a presale for the NYC show, but it's LiveNation so there's an Amex presale on TicketMaster.
And is anyone else surprised they're playing 9:30? I'm thrilled, of course, but I'm pretty surprised.

What was the last MV album? Bedlam In Goliath? Terrible.
De-Lousder, Frances and even Scab Dates [live album] were good.
Anectorum or Doldrum, whatever hell that album was, totally sucked too. They got real weird.

Seems like it's a Mermaid Avenue type project, with unreleased Woody lyrics set to music.

Radiohead
Roseland Ballroom 9/28-9/29
That'd be a pretty sick 'Surprise at the Club.' Didn't Roseland just have Beyonce too? I'd love big concerts like that in DC. Hey Seth…

Pollstar had it listed as 2012 this morning, and has since edited their post. Sorry about that.

If the show is anything like the MoF shows with them doing collab songs and some of their own material, I'm sold.
