The presale is on their website. Just scroll down and click "continue to website" at the bottom of the page then "shows" at the top of the next page. Tickets are $25 each and will call only.
Oh wow. This morning it said "Available soon". There wasn't an option to buy. Thank you!

What a nozzle.
very nice.. love that venue.
Went there for the first time last week, very cool place… Looking forward to some spoken word from manic Gener.
if we both end up going i can buy you that beer i promised you three years ago now… :)
As bitter as I am about the break up, I'm sure I'll go. See you there! Argh… same night as Neil Young. If I can get a cheap ticket to that, I'll be skipping Gener.

who is MOB?
the Aaron Freeman show is FRIDAY November 30 not the 29th.. tickets are $33..seems pricey.. I think for the black cat shows they were $20.. he may have a big band with him..I don't know..
I'm pretty sure I'll be there come hell or high water.

Now that is a painful conflict.
Both shows will be under attended. Lots of overlap between those fanbases.
That wouldn't happen to be a Blowoff Saturday, would it? Could make both doable.

Copper Blue was a pivotal album for me as a college student…kind of like I guess Nevermind for my generation copper blue was for me…I remember collecting every frickin' Sugar single I could find.. I think Lou Giordano's production on that album is about the best I've heard..Maybe ALan Moulder's on Ride's Going Blank Again stacks up to it.. very crisp stuff.
Definitely will be at the Bob Mould show.. just sad the two other dudes from Sugar won't be there… I haven't seen a Mould show in a long time (other than his appearance at the 930 bash).. One of my best "meeting a musician" times was outside Georgetown's auditorium/theater when he played there about 94..a solo show.. he was going on and on about MBV Loveless… I think this was before the My Favorite Thing album came out with the clear nick off of the MBV song which I still can' believe he got away with! He was also way into Guided By Voices I want to say..and I told him to check out the Mountain Goats…he was smoking of course..thats why I could talk to him outside before the show.. he also weighed a stone back then.. this was before his "I'm gay moving to Texas and becoming vegan" or some such period…. fast forward I want to say 8 years and I think I was at if not the first one of the first Blowoffs at the Velvet Lounge and I talked to him for but a few seconds. .he was a different man in some aspects!
Mission of Burma plays here every year!
But its a personal choice! I'm pro choice!

The last MoB show in the area was almost 2 and a half years ago.
Oh and if Mould is with the same rhythm section this time that he was with in 2009, you won't miss the other Sugar dudes. Jon Wurster and the dude on bass' name escapes me. Anyway, they were incredible. That was easily in my top 10 shows that year.

7PMPositive sign.
That definitely means Blowoff which means the show has to be over by 10:30.
Mission of Burma will likely have one opener and go on by 10:45. Perfect.
Fuck yes!

Jason Narducy. He's a more fluid bass player than David Barbe (and I love David too, now of Drive-By Truckers fame). David actually wrote a few really good Sugar tunes. But Jason and Bob have a more organic chemistry that makes a drummer's job that much easier. Brendan Canty did a superb job in that role. But Jon Wurster is great too.

Kath Bloom at the Velvet Lounge 6/14? Caldo Verde says so, but the Velvet Lounge doesn't.
