The National - 10/9
Ottobar - 10/10

No DC date?!?  Oh, he must be playing VirginFest.

I doubt virgin fest would allow the playing of the ottobar right around festival date.  more likely he just chose baltimore over dc.

With Switch not really involved and now no Skerrit Bwoy, leaves me debating this one.
Diplo as a producer is great. As performer, well … let Wayne keep the bubble.

He has a new 'hype man' with him and Jillionaire is now the 2nd producer/DJ and I still think they have the dancers. I mean, the 2 times I've seen them it was Diplo doing all the DJing anyway. There is still a lot of material that Diplo and Switch producer as Major Lazer that hasn't been released as well [such as "Get Free"]. Still excited, it is a bummer that Skerrit Bwoy jumped on his religion thing. That guy is a showman.

9:30 Club
Monster Magnet playing all of Spine of God 12/16 Trocadero, Philadelphia

Hey, Seth?
I would love to see Monster Magnet again. First time was at the old 9:30 Club and I met the nicest girl there.

As for Dave, he's really… uh… grown as a performer.

Is it Dave and a back up band or is the whole gang back?
for those coming to scapecape labor day weekend, keep in mind that it is also Grand Prix weekend, meaning the entire inner harbor will be shut down to traffic

I don't think there is a "whole gang" for this band. Other than dave, it's been a constantly shuffling line-up for all instruments since the Spine/Tab… days.
