Originally posted by callat703:Yea, capacity is 500. I think she sold out last time so people should get tix in advance.
Originally posted by El Sugartastic:Yeah, I agree, I would say the two are very different. Seeing a show at Starr HIll is kind of like being in a living room - its very small, and has sort of a weird room shape to it. Great venue.
Originally posted by Julian, faux celeb-porn CONNOISSEUR:I think they are nothing alike.
Originally posted by Charlie Nakatestes, Japanese Golfer:No. It's similar in size, shape, and sound quality. There are tables in the back for every show I've been to, however. The restaurant is actually downstairs (the venue is second floor).
So it's a seated venue?
State Theater is just that - a theater.
I'd compare Starr Hill to Iota (if Iota had two levels).
xcanuck - sent you more details…

Originally posted by amnesiac:Oh hell yeah! Anyone who loves live music MUST go to this show. I just saw them in Brooklyn over the weekend, and they blew my mind. And to see them in such a tiny place? It's going to be beautiful. (My only concern is that the stage won't be big enough for them to leap around as they normally do.)
