i've seen them twice - once at md death fest and once at empire.  they are good…the singer is the only original member. although really i just enjoy his crazy stage antics

Victor Griffin is back in the band. He has been involved since their Death Row days in the early 80's. Whoever that guitarist was at MDF last year has already been sent packing I guess haha. If anyone has not seen Pentagram yet do yourself a favor and watch the "Last Days Here" documentary on Netflix and go to the show. They will not be around forever.

Death Grips are rumored to be the opening act for the NIN / Soundgarden tour.

I hope a local Modest Mouse announcement is coming.

Unless they add it on the end after Boston, I don't see where it'd come as part of these May dates. Idk.
There are a few dates that they could play in DC or Baltimore (May 18, 22, and 23 are all free and they are in the general area). Or after the Boston date.

what a horrible, except for dark star, opening line up.

i would go to John Butler Trio and Hall & Oates if the venue was more convenient for me.

Perhaps the most eagerly-anticipated event during the Month of Francophonie, the Grande Fête is an invitation to travel the continents of the world in one night: each year, more than thirty five embassies unite to present their culture and cuisine to an enthusiastic public, accompanied by the sound of a special concert by an artist from the French-speaking world.
?From 7:00pm to 10:00pm, visit each and every table to sample the countries? foods and beverages and admire their arts and crafts.

Drinks will be up for sale as early as 10pm at the cash bar (cash only please).
?At 8:00pm: Live concert with Jomion and the Uklos (Benin), in partnership with the Alliance des Béninois de New York.
?From 10:30pm, we?ll crank up the volume to let our guests take over the dance floor with La Femme (France).
3/19
Dope Body, Roomrunner, Greys
the Crown

(updated lineup)
good lineup, are Greys just opening?
That was the order of the bands on the flyer… I will definitely be going between the Crown and the Gold Bar show that night.
TacocaT / Wet Brain / Dungeon Kids / Goblin Mold
Metro Gallery
3/25

Wet Brain is probably my fave Baltimore band at the moment and Tacocat's album is really good.

Travis Jackson, father, husband, and founder of DC's Windian Records, was killed in a work accident January 15th in DC. This is a benefit for his memorial fund, to assist his wonderful wife Ashley and 1-year old child Link. Come party and donate to the founder of an excellent label and a great dude.

Not strange at all.  Bill owns and runs both venues.  Acts are frequently booked at the two on consecutive nights.
