The Rat?
Heaven?
We've Been Had?

Stunning that you can't see the comparison. Totally enjoyable, but cut from the same cloth.

Live on in your denial.

If you're going to argue the Walkmen sound like the Stokes, I guess you could also argue they sound like the White Stripes, the Hives, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Black Keys and the Arctic Monkeys.

Note: I disagree with the review of the New Abnormal in that article, I post it only as a reference for lumping bands together.
I agree with grateful… there are definitely similarities of the two bands.

Yes, the Strokes was maybe a lazy pointer to that genre. A good genre, no doubt. But the comparison stands.
The Live Nation Lawn Pass
allows live music fans to attend any show at one of 30 sponsored venues throughout the summer in 2023. Passholders will have access to guaranteed general admission lawn seating as well as Fast Lane entry for $199 plus fees

if I liked any of the bands that played and lived close to the lube, this would be a good deal

As of now, the Dead and Janet Jackson are included in the Lawn Pass. Throw in another few heretofore unannounced shows and it could be getting to the possibly worth it stage.
Janet Jackson is dead?!!? don't we have a thread for that
