Mutual Admirations Society (Glen Phillips and Nickel Creek) @ Birchmere 8/18 and 8/19
Haven't seen it mentioned so far so here it goes…

The Hives at this club on 7/20

Big deal but I'm upset that I missed their last time through and was stuck standing outside the Black Cat without tix.

that is good news, I was stuck with unused tickets in my pocket last time because I was moving that day and it took too long

according to their site

Support: Sahara Hotnights & Reigning Sound
DC9

July 28-Wed. LadyBug Transistor
w/Essex Green & The Positions
Tickets go on sale June 3.

If it's anything like their show at the Black Cat, that would be a good thing. And I'm not just saying that because I was close enough to touch Pelle's hair. :D

I liked Essex Green when they opened for someone (who??) a while ago.

I'm looking forward to the Hives show. New outfits, new jokes, and new tunes!

Yes. And perhaps they'll do the audience the favor of keeping all mic stands off the stage. ;)

And, hell, maybe someone will buy a ticket for it. But most folks will end up with at least a 2-for-1. Has Nation ever resorted to a 3-for-1? There's a first time for everything…
