God, I haven't seen them since December 1994 at the old club. That was the show that was like a blender of beer, bodies and sweat and it was glorious. Yeah, I'll be there.
Saw the AniMalkmus Collective show at Union Stage last night…pretty much what I expected by def had its moments. Come Get Me was rad and he played Black Out/Spit on a Stranger/Frontwards/Fight This Gen.
One of the biggest takeaways, however, was how fucking annoying the crowd was. Would not shut the fuck up with stupid ass jokes and idiotic requests. Beyond cringeworthy.
It pains me to say this, but Gen-X is jumping the shark as hard as the evil Boomers did before us.
