I've never been to a spoken word event that I can remember…
I wouldn't mind seeing Henry Rollins next time….I been reading a lot of his books…

I really like Rollins' books and I have about a dozen of them. That said, I think his spoken word shows are 25% interesting and insightful and 75% lowest-common-denominator crap, along the lines of "Dick Cheney, eh?…. How about THAT guy?!? HE SHOT A DUDE! [waits for applause]. I mean, HALLIBURTON! [waits for applause]"
I walked out of the Birchmere really disappointed and wishing I'd never gone. Just my two cents.

That just blew. I pulled great seats, then they were yanked before I could buy them. I finally wound up pulling rear-facing seats in the back row for $150, then just closed the browser.
