big surprise: BOC isn't "cool" enough for this board. they only made three of the best hard rock records of all-time. "tyranny and mutation" is better than anything some generic brit-pop has ever done.

granted, they're washed-up dinosaurs now, but i'd still see them over crap like bright eyes any day.
i'd go see boards of canada or blue oyster cult.
however i'd only actually travel to see boards of canada.

plaid is playing in NYC next month.. i wish i could go.
