Two nights of Editors? That's surprising. I have the Destroyer show on the 29th, so I guess I'll go to the Saturday show. Maybe they'll get a longer set that night as well.

I looked at that for a good 3 seconds before I realized YOU weren't playing a show. I spend too much time on here.
I have no interest in this show, but I'll bet you could latch onto quite a bit of pie at this show.

What? I have no interest in picking up women at any concert, but especially a Rhett Miller concert.

Perhaps you should try Blowoff.
It's true…that's where I met my sweetheart!

I have no interest in this show,
Rhett doesn't like Rhett solo?
His first solo album was merely decent, and the new one is horrid, overproduced crap. It sounds like Rhett Miller singing on a Damnwells album. Maybe he will finally be the mainstream rock star he wants to be.

I can't get enough of their album, so I am very very excited about this show:

Lollapalooza Confirmed As 3-Day Fest

February 14, 2006, 11:15 AM ET
Barry A. Jeckell, N.Y.
As initially speculated
last month, Lollapalooza will return to Chicago's Grant Park as a three-day event in 2006. Organizers Capitol Sports & Entertainment confirmed that the
one-time touring festival is not only growing in length, but in size as well, taking over more of the park to house eight stages that will present as many
as 130 acts.

The Lollapalooza
Web site
confirms the dates and location for the show, but confirmation of participating artists and ticket information isn't expected to emerge for about a month.

Of course, that that hasn't stopped the rumor mill from churning.
As previously reported,
a reunion of the Windy City's own Smashing Pumpkins is among the most persistent rumors, while the likes of the Flaming Lips and Disco Biscuits also the
focus of speculation. Members of Thievery Corporation recently told Billboard.com that the group would be on hand for year's festival.

"Lollapalooza is a place where young upstarts become legends, and legends return to claim their fame, says festival founder Perry Farrell in a statement.

Despite oppressive heat, more than 30,000 attended each day of last year's two-day Lollapalooza in Grant Park. It was the first stationary event in the
festival's history, which stretches back to the first tour in 1991 when Farrell's band, Jane's Addiction, served as headliner.

I've read mediocre reviews of their show, but I definitely want to check this out.

Is it just me or is The Black Cat getting alot of good shows this year? Seems like I'll be spending alot of time there and have yet to go to a 930 show this year. And my first 930 show isn't until the Pogues, I think…

Anyone think they'll do a show up in Baltimore? 8x10 doesn't have anything scheduled the night before the Black Cat date
