Does anyone need me to pick up them up DCFC @ Strathmore tickets? (pay me back of course)
I picked up two, but found two on an aisle that I prefer / need instead.
Just Announced

What is the presale info? There is no link on the tour page. (for DCFC) PM me please.
I think you have to be a DCFC member on their website right? $30 a year.

Is it really a show by himself? Not some kind of festival?
About as good as a bill of local acts in DC gets in 2012.

Wow. Apparently I should have read that more closely. Sharon Jones ATDK are REPLACING the Roots on the bill. Not opening.
Still cool but a little disappointing…

Roots I'm in, Sharon I'm out.
Guessing Sharon would be more affordable. I would be in depending on the price.
$20-80
Hope John Legend is out, too? ;D

Sounds the like booker at the FSS is falling down on the job!
Seriously, I saw Eddie on one of those 80s package tours many years ago and he was so fucked up he barely made it through one set. I can't see how he can do two a night.

I really have no clue how the FSS is even functioning and still open after five months. They have about 10 shows a month max and it's usually a bunch of garbage.

you know . . . i went over and checked out their website, seeing how i am going there for two shows starting tomorrow, and i am curious to what kind of place it is. wow, you are not kidding, buddy! i've seen some shitty lineups for a place (except widespread which really now stands out as the one big band surrounded two months of "who?") in my day but for a new venue, and a new venue that has/had the potential, money, power, name, backing behind it to really do something for the fan of music, this is what you give us so far. is that a sign of bands not willing to play there? a sign of horribly run behind the scenes day to day operations? or a sign that the economy cannot support another venue. i love going to new venues and always hope the place is cool and has great beer and good sound/sight lines, nice bathrooms, appealing area, easy parking/getting there, staff that aren't asses . . . and of cource, coat check. i'm not concerned if the fillmore does ok. if it provides a service and people like it and that service is a good service that can survive, good for them.
