I am rarely in agreement with Hutch but me too.
It cost something like $8 to see FF on the backstage nine years ago. Surprised that they have higher billing than Animal Collective honestly.

Ticketfly page shows price of tickets $11-$56.  Really hope this isn't an error.

It is surprising that they went from club act, took off seven years, and reemerged as an amphitheater act.

I remember seeing them backstage at BC about ten years ago - opening for Blitzen Trapper.

I also remember before one of their gigs at the club slugging a beer at DC9 during the opener. I was surprised to see that their drummer was there too and chatted him him up a bit.

He's done pretty well since then.  He was a great dude btw. Local.

I read an interview that said the drummer and the singer didn't speak to each other the last two years the drummer was in the band.

The Blitzen Trapper show was the one to which I was referring. Maybe it was ten years.

I remember them playing the club in the summer of 2009 and Espers opening for them. Sadly that was the last I heard of Espers doing anything as a band.
Got my Moroder tickets.

Couldn't pull anything worth a shit for Fleet Foxes; will try again during normal sale.

Saw Ryan Adams on Sunday (what a tonal shift that was to Flaming Lips the next night), and he had a roadie ccme out as soon as the lights went down at the end of the set and ask everyone to take their phones out and take a photo to ensure their flashes were off. Now, supposedly, he has vertigo so I would give him a pass on this request but this followed up with his insistence that the venue stop alcohol sales 30 minutes BEFORE HIS SET STARTED which was one of the most batshit insane things I've ever endured.

This really should be in the post show banter thread, but as his music quality decreases year after year, he seems to get even more annoying.

Gonna try and catch them at SXSW as well. They always have awesome bands on tour with them. Curious to see who gets added to the show.
