Who else is on the bill? I was told that missing the show at the Crown Monday would be ok due to something on the 29th… I am assuming this is that show. Are the rest not official yet?

Did they headline mainstage or open on it?
A lot of bands who take massive falls in crowd I "get;" Parquet Courts is fantastic live and on record and aging rapidly and hate most things. I don't get why they're having to play such small places. The material is so good.
Is it really Parquet Courts, or some weird combo of Parquet Courts and PC Worship? The show is listed as "Parkay Quarts" and the description says:
PCPC is what happens when two legendary rock juggernauts join forces. In this instance, members of PC Worship and Parquet Courts have merged into a NY noise-rock confederacy, each band bringing their own sonic distinctions. Spawning from a long history of playing shows together as separate entities, PCPC is born out of an aesthetic solidarity, and will to create something new.
From what I've read, it's hard to tell if they're just touring together, or if this is some supergroup-type-thing.

Headlined once and played second to last once. Second was a co-headlining bill with Total Control.

I think it is a collab of both bands. I didn't know that's who's playing. Says a lot about DC9 that they can't get the band name right. Steve Lambert himself probably doesn't know the difference.

If I had to choose between a tape and a CD-r in an envelope, I'd go with the tape.
They're the most cost-effective option for a tiny band or label who wants to sell something other than a download code.

I don't blame DC9. The same info (including the various names) is on the Parquet Courts website. The blurb is from a press release or something, because it showed up in multiple articles. It's all just a bit vague.
